bbq chicken.

since i am an undergrad working full time as well, time is of the essence. that is why i adore my crockpot. you simply plop in the ingredients (even frozen ones) and turn it on. when you come home dinner is waiting for you and your home smells wonderful. i tried this recipe a few days ago and the boyfriend, M, absolutely loved it even though he prefers red meat to chicken.

BBQ chicken:

any part of the chicken you have laying around (we used leg quarters i got on sale)
and some BBQ sauce (i also got this on sale for 48 cents a jar WAHOO!)

put the chicken in the crockpot, smother with BBQ sauce and walk away.
high for 4-6hrs (our chicken was frozen)**
low for 6-9hrs


**you should really be the judge of the time if you cooked chicken in the crockpot before go with the time you're most comfortable with.

i served our chicken with potatoe rolls and baked potatoes. MMM!
